Thank the recruiter for the opportunity to speak with you.

  1. Reiterate your interest in the position

After reminding the recruiter of the position you applied for, advise them on how your skills align with the company’s goals.

  1. Mention that you can provide additional information

Reassure them that you are prepared by mentioning that if the recruiter needs further information, such as documentation, they will not hesitate to ask.

  1. Sign off with a signature

Following the same format from the greeting, sign off professionally.

When formatting your thank-you email, include these tips to ensure a response from your recruiter. 

  1. Your subject line is an important element of your email. Make sure the subject line is clear and concise. After all, it is the first thing the recruiter will see. 
  2. At the beginning of your body paragraph restate your name, the position you interviewed for, and the time of the interview. 
  3. Keep the email concise. 
  4. Be sure to thank the recruiter for their time. This may seem like a lot of repetition when it comes to thanking them but you want to show respect and gratitude for speaking with you. 
  5. Set a positive tone and attitude throughout the email.
  6. Add in anything you weren’t able to mention in the interview.
  7. Proofread your email before sending it off

After discussing the importance of social media platforms and algorithms, I am positive that my skills and experience will align greatly with achieving the company’s goal of reaching one million followers.
