Manila, 22 April 2024 – Visa, a global leader in digital payments, in its continuous efforts to empower athletes and build a more inclusive world through sport, has been a partner of the Olympic Movement since 1986 and was the first global partner of the International Paralympic Committee in 2002. For the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, Visa has facilitated GCash, the number one finance app in the Philippines, to offer their GCash Visa Card customers the opportunity to win a trip for 2 to France to watch the Paralympic Games live.

The campaign, running from 9 March to 31 May 2024, allows GCash Visa cardholders to enter into the raffle upon meeting the program’s requirements, where 3 winners will ultimately be announced on 30 June 2024 as the lucky cardholders who will be flown to Paris and get premium access to Paralympic Games events and branded merchandise, courtesy of Visa.

The Paralympic Games Paris 2024 will run from 28 August to 8 September with 549 events in 22 sports, including a record 236 medal events for women. These games mark the first time Paris will host the Paralympics in its history and the second time that France will host the Paralympic Games, after the cities of Tignes and Albertville joint hosted the 1992 Winter Paralympics.
