The task most people focus on when they start out that takes up 80% of their time and only produces 20% of their results is calling and following up on leads. What the high earners in the industry do is only talk to people who are highly interested and ready to join. They become order takers not pushy sales people.
So How Do They Do This?
The first thing you must have a way of generating leads and if you have been on the internet any period of time I am sure you have seen all the systems out there to help you do this which is great. However here is the secret sauce, instead of calling and doing all the follow up yourself what you want to do is use a virtual assistant to do the follow up and calling for you for the initial contact.
You could get them to say something like “Hi, I am Jennifer from Steven Elliott’s office, I noticed you have shown interest in xyz and I just want to make sure you have all the information you need and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to our office” they can them send them an email to some more information or a call to action.
Now, Imagine What The Prospect Is Thinking.
This has a very powerful effect on the prospect as you look very professional, and that you have it all together and making money.
Now if the prospect does show genuine interested and not just a tire kicker, then and only then the virtual assistant can pass the prospects details on to you.
Now when you contact the prospect you are contacting a hot lead and maximizing your efforts. The more you use virtual assistants and outsource the unnecessary jobs in your business you will work a lot less and produce much bigger results, ultimately bigger pay checks.
