How should young people treat money? It can be difficult to determine how much money someone needs in order to be happy, but it’s also important that young people see themselves as successful too.

No matter how similar teenagers may act, they are all different. In addition to common interests and outlooks on life, which may not be fully formed yet, young boys and girls differ greatly. They not only have different points of view, but also attitudes towards certain things, including money. You should not think that they have no moral values and they are only fixated on making money because that’s just not the case. Everyone just thinks differently. Someone may prioritize expensive cars while another may find enjoyment out of taking long trips to tourist destinations.

monetary success

Many people think that younger generations have no desire to build their own families or settle down because their thinking tends to be short term. But, there are plenty of Millennials and GenZers who want to be financially stable to live carefree.

Below there I list some reasons why I think that young people place a special value on money.

Understanding the possibilities. We all know that if you have money, you can afford more: go to relax by the sea, try some delicacies, buy cool clothes, give an expensive gift to a person close to you, and much more. This is not so bad—a conscious approach and understanding that you need money to provide for yourself and, possibly, someone close to you. Many guys even try to study the economic side of using money. Someone invests money by studying ICOholder and is already thinking about having a financial airbag in the future.

More needs. Prices are rising and technology is constantly updating. There is always an urge to embrace the latest thing whether that be for social or personal reasons. The desire to be more successful will never go away. Again, the more money you have, the more likely you are to get noticed, but it’s more important that you are happy with the way you live. After all, it also happens that people who are focused only on money can be unhappy in their families and relationships. Yes, they are rich, yes, they have a lot of things that others do not have and that’s great. But will you really feel needed, happy and complete if there is no one to share it with.

Conclusion:

So what is the indicator of success for young people when it comes to money? The amount of money that each individual needs to survive comfortably is a good place to start. But do not forget, the older we get, the more needs and desires we have. True, they are joined by common sense, understanding, sober reasoning about the real need for something because as we grow older become less naive. But it’s important to never measure your success against someone else’s. You determine your own financial success, don’t make excuses, just go out there and earn what you deserve.
