Luise to drive operational excellence, scalable growth, and enhanced client and employee experiences across the platform.

DENVER, Feb. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of Palo Alto-based private equity firm Oval Partners, has announced the appointment of Christopher J. Luise as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Luise, formerly CEO of ADNET Technologies (a New Charter Technologies company), brings extensive leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth and operational maturity.

Peter Melby, CEO of New Charter Technologies, shared his enthusiasm for the move: “Chris brings a unique mix of strategic vision and hands-on leadership. He understands what it takes to scale operations without losing the community engagement and personal touch that define New Charter. His ability to lead by earning deep trust will be invaluable as we continue to expand and refine our approach.”

Luise co-founded ADNET Technologies in 1991 with Edward D. Laprade. Its goal has always been to be a partner of choice for local businesses and to provide strategic IT guidance. For the past three years, Luise has not only served as CEO of ADNET, but he has also been Group President of New Charter.

As the COO of New Charter, Luise will take on an expanded role and oversee operations for the entire national platform of MSPs and technology companies. Currently, New Charter has nearly 30 companies across North America in its network.

“I’m excited to step into this role and contribute to the ongoing success of New Charter Technologies,” said Luise. “New Charter’s model combines the power of a national platform with the agility of local expertise. It’s an approach that truly sets us apart, and I’m looking forward to working alongside this incredible team to build on that momentum.”

Luise’s appointment marks a strategic move to further New Charter’s focus on hypergrowth while ensuring operational efficiency. His leadership will support the company’s mission of helping IT service providers scale and work cohesively to deliver high-value solutions to clients across industries.

This appointment is also part of New Charter Technologies’ broader strategy to position itself as a long-term leader in the IT services market. By balancing rapid growth with operational maturity, the company aims to build a resilient and innovative technology services platform that benefits both partners and clients.
