To improve the healthcare enterprise in India,  managed IT services are now bringing more interactive apps for TB patients, heart patients and various apps that monitor health and daily activities. The need for effective application is necessary for heart and blood pressure patients as Indians are anyway at higher risk of heart attacks. Due to food habits, high incidence and prevalence of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, genetic factors, increasing prevalence of obesity, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, etc. Indians are at higher risk than Westerners do.

According to the cardiologists, the steep rise and people dying post covid unexpectedly of heart attacks is alarming. “Though we do not have sufficient data and evidence to prove whether this is COVID induced phenomena. Definitely this has increased post COVID. Long term COVID sequelae could possibly be responsible in some cases,” Dr. Samir Kubba Director-Cardiology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali, told IANS.

For TB patients, developers created the Ni-kshay Setu app. “The Ni-kshay application aims to boost the ability of healthcare workers to treat the patients by helping reduce the knowledge gap regarding the disease,” Said Dr Harsha Shah, National coordinator of the TB project at the Gandhinagar based Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) which developed it in collaboration with IT in India.

The “Ni-kshay Setu” app allows the user to access patients with suspected TB depending on their details and symptoms and to provide decision-making algorithms for their treatment. It also provides geographic mapping of health facilities and the availability of services.

There is also an AI-based interactive chat robot to answer user queries.

The need for enforcement was first felt after a survey of 460 health care workers, over 900 tuberculosis patients, frontline workers, state and district workers etc in Gujarat and Jharkhand revealed gaps in their knowledge regarding the bacterial disease.

Let’s understand the design of an effective mobile app for the heart that will soon be released on the market and contain efficient algorithms and decision-making processes for patients with coronary heart disease.

Maximum number of hours per day that a mobile device is with a person. One can enter all the information (medical reports and diagnoses) in the programme when a patient has received a complete diagnostic. The programme will monitor a person’s daily activities and provide a weekly report on heart health.

The time will be shown in relation to the user’s heart rate. It will highlight the instance when the heart exhibited inappropriate behavior, and it will correct it (if required). A person will know if they need to quit going to the gym or performing exercises there that put them at risk, for instance, if their heart rate is high and can cause cardiac arrest. Similarly, if a person’s heart rate changes while they are sleeping (high or low), they should avoid eating, drinking, or using any medications before bed.

This application also includes an automatic emergency alert to notify someone to stop physical activity in case of fatality. The main idea of such applications is that people are lagging behind in constantly monitoring their heart rate compared to their daily routine. People ignore diet, medications, supplements, and exercise, but these things can have a certain impact on your heart rate and blood pressure if you do them regularly.

Although there should be cardiac activity that raises blood pressure and heart rate, it is important to understand the limitations and risks associated with continuous exercise. Going forward, to create effective apps, medical researchers will need to work with IT to create such software. Contributions from all disciplines are very important, as mobile app recommendations like this are different for each individual who understands their body, mind, age and physical activity and much more.

Designing mobile apps with artificial intelligence can save many lives in India and around the world. A new revolution in healthcare and a blessing for heart patients. IT Service providers in India will work with medical researchers from various institutions to develop the software soon.
